The personal Protective Equipment at work regulations 1992 require employers to supply Safety Footwear in
hazardous environment.

As with all PPE, a comprehensive risk assessment is an essential prerequisite to insure hazards
are eliminated where possible. Where this is not possible the correct Safety
footwear should be supplied and used. We would be pleased to arrange a site survey to assist in the
process of selecting the correct Safety footwear.

PRODUCT STANDARDS / CE MARKINGS

All safety footwear must comply with the new CE markings and approval requirements and meet one of the
following standards.

Steel toe caps
Most styles are to the highest level of protection at 200 joule meeting EN345.
Some styles are supplied to 100 joules meeting EN346, although these are predominantly ladies footwear. Please check the wearer benefits on each section to confirm the level of protection.
Stainless steel midsole Flexible plate between sole and inner sole to resist nail penetration. Highlighted in the user key in each section. Anti static Footwear
made to minimize electrostatic build up by dissipating electrostatic charges through the sole while also insulating the wearer from electric shock.

full sizes 5 - 12. Most men’s shoes are supplied in full and half sizes 5 - 12 (no 5 1/2 or 11 1/2). Ladies boots and shoes are available in sizes 3- 8 with sizes
available 3 to 6 with 1/2 sizes available 3 1/2 - 6 1/2.
